ioki Vehicle App

Release 2.17.4

The latest version 2.17.4 is already available to all customers.
Update 2.17.4 will be the new minimum version from February 6, 2024 and must be installed.
The ioki Vehicle App displays a corresponding message from this day onward.

Google Play Store

It is now possible to download the Vehicle App for Android from the public Google Play Store

The Google Play Store will become the new distribution channel for the app in the medium term - support for the App Centre will be slowly phased out in Q1, 2024.
The latest version 2.17.4 is still available to all customers via http://install.appcenter.ms/.
If the ioki Vehicle App is installed via the Google Play Store, we advise to remove existing installations of the app first. Otherwise, the ioki Vehicle App will be installed twice on the device.
Switching to the Google Play has the following advantages:
Easier and faster access: It is no longer necessary to log in to the App Center webpage, to navigate to the relevant version, to download and to install the app.
Updates can be installed automatically (if desired). This function can be configured in the Google Play Store App.
Versioning is much easier because the Google Play Store always provides the latest version.

Minimum version Android 9

Particularly on the Android market, there are many different devices that receive varying levels of support from the manufacturer and from Google.
Android is currently at version 14 and was released in October 2023.
Older versions of Android entail a lot of additional work for developers, as certain functions are not yet available or the software is no longer patched.
Therefore, we will discontinue support for Android version 7 and 8 from April 2024 onwards. These are now 7 and 6 years old respectively.
Please ensure that devices running on Android 9 or higher are available in due time.

ioki Operator

Start of the beta rollout

We are pleased to present the ioki Operator, the evolved version of the Control Center. The ioki Operator will be the future center of all platform-related tasks and information.

Gradual activation

Over the last few months, we have developed, optimized and tested the ioki Operator and will now gradually make it available to you for your daily operation.

Changes are synchronized

Until all features are available in the ioki Operator, there will be parallel operation with the Control Center. Therefore, the Control Center can continue to be used without restriction - but new features will be available primarily in the ioki Operator. All data and changes you make to your product are 100% aligned and run in sync. Regardless of whether you use the ioki Operator or the Control Center.
